Simple Red Caviar Sandwiches for Breakfast

A simple recipe for super sandwiches! Very easy and delicious! Sandwiches with red caviar are, I think, everyone's favorite. I personally always make this appetizer from my mom's recipe for any celebration. Naturally, the dish literally "flies" off the table to admiring cries from family and friends.

  • So, here's the recipe. To start, take a loaf — ideally one that's slightly stale (buy it a day before making the sandwiches). That way it won't crumble or squash when you slice it. Cut 15 slices of the loaf (about 1 centimeter thick). Take the butter out of the fridge ahead of time and let it soften for about 15–20 minutes so it spreads more easily. Now take each slice and carefully spread it with a thin, even layer of butter — roughly 2 millimeters thick. Then spoon red caviar over the butter in an even layer. A jar is always just enough for exactly 15 sandwiches. If you want to make more, buy more caviar.
