I present you a colorful and light snack. This is a recipe for a simple salad with a fragrant dressing and Scottish salmon. The ingredients of the snack "Salmon with honey dressing" can be prepared in advance, and mix them immediately before the guests' visit in a couple of minutes.
What I do in advance: fry salmon in oil with the skin-free side for 12-15 minutes. At the same time, I turn it over only once. Salmon should be completely fried and frosted inside. Now I make the dressing: in a blender I mix oil, honey, mustard, mayonnaise, vinegar, pepper and salt. Above the plate, I sort the peeled oranges into slices so as not to lose a single drop of juice. I remove the films from them, cover them and leave them in a cool place. I add orange juice to the dressing and pour it into a bottle, which I close. I cut the onion into half rings, put it in a bag and send it to the refrigerator. I break the salmon into large pieces with forks, and pour half of the dressing. I cover the fish with a film and put it in the refrigerator.
Are the guests already at the threshold? Then let's get down to business: I put the shrimps and oranges in a large bowl and pour the dressing, which must be shaken beforehand. I add lettuce leaves and transfer the mixture to a dish. I spread the peppered salmon on top. The salad is ready to serve.
And, by the way, this salad turns out great from smoked salmon if you don't have the desire and time to mess with fresh fish. Then just put the smoked salmon on the dish on one side, and the salad itself on the other. Bon appetit!
