Cooking method

Step 1:
Cut the onion into half- or quarter-moons.

Pat the tofu dry and cut it into slices about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick, drizzle with soy sauce, and let it soak for 5 minutes.

Fry the onion until golden.

Add the teriyaki sauce and warm through for another minute.

Dredge the tofu in flour.

Fry until golden and crisp.
