Cooking method
This delicious and fragrant meat soaked in a magnificent wine sauce can be a meal only from English cuisine. For this recipe, we need to peel onions and carrots, rinse them and cut into large slices. Cut the celery into a slightly smaller size, and put all these ingredients on a washed and oiled baking sheet. Mix olive oil with thyme and pour it on the cooked vegetables. In another bowl, mix mustard with Worcestershire sauce and add pepper to taste. With the prepared marinade, we lubricate the pieces of meat on both sides and put them on a baking sheet on top of the vegetables. Preheat the oven and bake our meat masterpiece with vegetables for about an hour and a half at 180 ° C. After the meat is completely cooked, we take it out of the oven and wrap it in foil. During the baking of meat and vegetables, a broth is formed, which we will use to prepare the sauce. To do this, we pour the broth into a frying pan, heat it and add flour. Constantly stirring the sauce, boil for 2-3 minutes, then add wine and vegetables, turn down the heat and cook it all for 6-8 minutes. Before serving the Classic roast beef with wine sauce, it is necessary to strain our sauce and pour over the cooked meat. Bon appetit!
