Such a preparation is called "drunk" tomatoes. Of course, because of the vodka in the composition. But! In ready-made tomatoes, vodka is not felt either in taste or aroma. We select tomatoes that should not be too large, sufficiently dense and elastic. Ideally, if their skin is strong. Tomatoes with cracks or other damages will not be suitable for harvesting.

Prepare a liter jar in advance, sterilize it. We do the same with the lid.

So, I wash the tomatoes and put them on a clean and dry cloth, you can slightly wet her tomatoes. We leave them to dry a little. At this time, peel the garlic and onion, remove the husk, rinse them with cold water, wipe the moisture with a towel. Cut the garlic into pieces, and leave the onion whole. The celery root is washed, dried, cleaned and also cut into pieces. Dill, tarragon, cherry and blackcurrant leaves are covered with boiling water and spread out to dry.

Put the chopped celery and garlic in the prepared jar. We also send sweet peas, dill, tarragon, cherry and black currant leaves there. Next, fill the jar with tomatoes. Do not forget to put the onion as well.

Boil water and pour the contents of the jar with it (not all the water will be needed). Cover the jar with a lid and leave the tomatoes to stand in boiling water for 10 minutes. When this time has passed, we drain the water into a saucepan, add salt to it and put it on the fire again, bring it to a boil.

At this time, pour vodka and vinegar into a jar with tomatoes, and pour everything over with boiling salt water. The water should reach the edges of the jar. Hermetically close the jar with a lid and cover it with a blanket for the night. Next, we transfer the tomatoes to the storage place in a cool place.

The preparation is ready!
