Pizza Dough with Dry Yeast and Sour Cream
Light, airy dough is the key to delicious pizza! I love pizza, and I know its flavor depends a lot on the base — that is, on getting the dough right. I really recommend trying this yeasted pizza dough made with sour cream. It's soft, doesn't stick to your hands, and comes together quickly and easily.

- Make the sponge: pour warm boiled water into a bowl, sift in the flour, and add the dry yeast and sugar. Leave the sponge in a warm place for 15 minutes. Once it has grown in volume, it's ready to use.
- In a large bowl, combine the sour cream with the vegetable oil, add the salt, and stir. Mix in the sponge, sift in the flour in batches, and knead a soft dough that doesn't stick to your hands. Leave the dough in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for 40 minutes.
- Then dust your work surface with flour, turn the dough out onto it, knead it briefly, and go ahead and make whatever dish you have in mind.
- Wishing you delicious pizza and a great mood!
