Cloudberry tincture

Sweet and sour homemade tincture with the aroma of cloudberries! The tincture is prepared quite easily, but requires waiting for some time. It is good to prepare such a tincture in advance and store it in a cool, dark place before the onset of some celebration. Guests from such a cloudberry tincture will be delighted!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 7 d 2 h 30 min

1. We sort out the cloudberry berries, remove the stems and wash them. We put it in a sieve to drain the water.
2. Crush the cloudberry with a pusher, mix with sugar. We leave it for a couple of hours. When the sugar crystals have dissolved and the crushed berries have given juice, pour vodka.
3. Pour into a jar, close with a plastic lid and insist at room temperature for a week. The tincture should be stirred periodically.
4. Filter the tincture through gauze, folded in several layers. Pour into a bottle, close the lid tightly and put the finished tincture in a cool place.
