Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Chicken fillet is washed under running water and boiled in salted water over medium heat, it is enough to cook it for 25 minutes. Drain the broth or use it for cooking other dishes, finely chop the cooled chicken fillet with a knife.
Step 2:
Mushrooms for this salad can be used any to taste and availability: forest or champignons, boiled, fried or pickled. With pickled mushrooms, the salad turns out to taste more interesting. We wash the pickled forest mushrooms under running water, let the liquid drain completely, cut the mushrooms finely with a knife.
Step 3:
Peel and finely chop the onion. If the onion seems too bitter, you can pickle it or pour boiling water over it.
Step 4:
The second method is simpler, but no less effective. Put the chopped onion in a deep bowl and pour boiling water, leave for a couple of minutes, drain the water.
Step 5:
Hard cheese can be used of any variety to taste and desire, the main thing is that it is not soft. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Step 6:
Chicken eggs are washed, put in a saucepan, pour water and cook hard boiled, cook chicken eggs over medium heat for about 20 minutes. It is better to salt the water so that they are well cleaned from the shell. We drain the water, fill them with cold water, cool them, clean them.
Step 7:
Separate the whites from the yolks, rub each of them on a medium grater separately.
Step 8:
The green onion feather is washed, dried and finely chopped with a knife. We spread the salad in layers, you can through the cooking ring or just into a plate.
Step 9:
The first layer is chopped chicken fillet. Lubricate it with mayonnaise. Sprinkle chopped pickled mushrooms on top. Another layer of mayonnaise.
Step 10:
Sprinkle with grated hard cheese, a thin layer of mayonnaise. We begin to arrange the salad. In the center, pour the grated yolk of a chicken egg, around the whites. The trunk of a birch tree is made from a trickle of mayonnaise through a pastry syringe. Birch foliage can be laid out with a crushed washed green onion feather. Stripes on the trunk of a birch tree can be made from black olives or a piece of black bread. The salad is ready. We let it soak in the refrigerator and serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
