Viburnum Decoction
A healing brew for all sorts of occasions. I turn to viburnum (highbush cranberry) decoction whenever my chronic bronchitis flares up. It rarely bothers me, but it always makes an appearance in late fall.
Cooking method

Step 1:
The ingredients.

Method one. Mash 2 tablespoons of viburnum berries.

Add a cup of warm water and set over a water bath for 15 minutes.

Then cool and strain the viburnum decoction. You can stir in honey if you like.

Method two. Pour a liter of boiling water over a cup of berries and simmer for ten minutes.

After it cools, strain it.

Then stir in three tablespoons of honey.

Method three. Steep a tablespoon of viburnum in a cup of boiling water and drink half a cup twice a day.

Keep in mind that, like any remedy, these berries have contraindications, so check with your doctor before drinking the decoction.
