Step 1:
We prepare the necessary products and spices for cooking delicious herring under an unusual fur coat.
Step 2:
Pour ten grams of powdered gelatin into a bowl and pour seventy milliliters of cold boiled water into it, after which, after mixing, we set aside for swelling for fifteen to twenty minutes.
Step 3:
Rub three hundred grams of boiled potatoes and three hundred grams of boiled beets into a plate on a fine grater.
Step 4:
Dissolve the swollen gelatin in the microwave or in a water bath.
Step 5:
Add one tablespoon of mayonnaise to a bowl of gelatin.
Step 6:
Mix gelatin with mayonnaise until smooth.
Step 7:
Put the resulting gelatin mass in a bowl with four tablespoons of mayonnaise and mix together until smooth.
Step 8:
Put the finely chopped dill greens to taste in a bowl and mix well.
Step 9:
Put the grated vegetables in a bowl in parts and add black pepper to taste.
Step 10:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
Step 11:
Pour finely chopped dill greens into the molds to taste, after which we put a little cooked vegetable mixture in each.
Step 12:
We spread two pieces of herring fillet on the vegetable mixture in molds.
Step 13:
Cover the pieces of herring with vegetable mixture and level it with a uniform layer.
Step 14:
Cut one onion head into half rings and put it in a small bowl, then pour one teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of sugar into it.
Step 15:
Pour the onion in a bowl with boiling water.
Step 16:
Add one teaspoon of 70% vinegar essence to a bowl with onions and mix it with a plate, and set aside for twenty minutes.
Step 17:
We remove the salad-filled molds for one hour in the refrigerator, or for fifteen minutes in the freezer.
Step 18:
After a while, we put pickled onions with sliced lemon slices on plates, then a portioned salad from molds, which we decorate on top with chopped small cubes of Bulgarian pepper, dill greens and red caviar.
