Pasta Bolognese with Onion and Tomato Sauce

Love Italian food? Make pasta Bolognese at home! I've always loved refined Italian cooking, and after a trip to Italy I completely lost my head over its aromas and incredible flavor combinations. It was after that trip that I started making Italian dishes at home, gradually getting the hang of this extraordinary cuisine. Here's one of the best recipes in my collection.

    1. Start with the sauce:
    • Peel and rinse the garlic and onion, then chop them finely;
    • Peel, wash, and cut the carrot and celery root too (the carrot into very thin rounds, the root into small cubes);
    • Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, slip off the skins, and keep the flesh;
    • Sauté the prepped ingredients in olive oil for about 5 minutes, then pour in the wine and cook until the alcohol evaporates;
    • Transfer the vegetables to a saucepan;
    • Brown the ground beef in olive oil for about 5–6 minutes, then combine it with the vegetables and add the tomato paste, chicken broth, oregano, salt, and pepper.
    1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions.
    1. Plate it up: lay out a portion of pasta, top with the sauce, and garnish with fresh herbs.
  • It came out delicious!
  • Enjoy!
