Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min

I suggest cooking porridge from rice and millet first on water so that the cereals are well cooked and not burnt, and add milk at the very end.
So, we cook a sweet porridge of rice and millet. We take cereals in equal proportions, 150 grams each, immediately pour them into a saucepan and be sure to rinse in cold water. The washed mixture of cereals is filled with 600 ml of water, then put the pan on high heat.
Bring the water with a mixture of rice and millet to a boil, stir, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the pan with a lid, leaving a large gap for steam to escape and cook for 25 minutes. The porridge should boil slightly, during this time the water will evaporate enough.
Next, remove the lid, mix the porridge, add half a teaspoon of salt and 3 tablespoons of sugar, put a piece of butter, mix so that the butter melts.
Then pour 300 ml of milk into the porridge, mix again, cover the pan with a lid and let the rice-millet porridge sweat for another 5 minutes on the lowest heat.
Rice-millet porridge is laid out in deep plates and served hot for breakfast.
