    1. Sort and wash the berries — you can leave them on their stems. 2. Put the clean berries in a large pot, cover with water, and set over the heat. Once it boils, cook for 1 hour. 3. Strain off the liquid and press the berries through a sieve, getting out as much juice as you can. 4. Return the resulting liquid to the heat, bring it to a boil, then add the sugar and the almond extract. 5. Pour in the vodka and remove from the heat. 6. Bottle the liqueur. It's basically ready to drink, but you can let it rest at least a few days. Store the liqueur at room temperature. Happy holidays!
