Cooking method
So, let's start cooking delicious real pea puree:
- put the peas in a bowl, fill with water (2 cups of water will be enough), leave for 3 hours;
- peel onion and garlic, finely chop, put in a thick-walled saucepan, fry in vegetable oil until transparent;
- we wash the swollen peas under running water (I put them on a sieve and in this way I can wash them thoroughly);
- we spread the peas to the onion, pour water (boiling water!), add salt and send it to the fire;
- when the liquid in the pan boils, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook under a closed lid for 50-60 minutes.
Serve hot on the table.
