    1. Combine the cinnamon, cardamom, peppercorns, cumin, coriander, cloves, caraway, and nutmeg in a mortar. Grind any whole-seed spices. 2. Add the garam masala and the prepared spice mix to a saucepan, pour in the water, bring to a boil, and keep it on the heat for 1 minute, then add the black tea and boil for another minute. 3. Pour in the milk, add the sugar and the bay leaves, and boil for 1 minute. 4. Strain the finished drink through a sieve. Enjoy your tea!
