Composition / ingredients
Cooking method
1. Take a meat grinder and scroll walnuts with a quarter of sugar on it.
2. Add half of the lemon and orange juices to the mixture.
3. Prepare sugar syrup from the remaining sugar and 150 ml of water. Add the remaining lemon and orange juices to it, cook for 20 minutes (moderate heating).
4. Melt the butter (I do this until it becomes transparent).
5. Put the dough in a form (greased with oil) and put the nut filling on it. Repeat until the form is filled out.
6. Brush the top layer with egg.
7. Cut the future baklava. I cut with a diamond. I decorate each diamond with an almond nut.
8. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
9. Remove, pour sugar syrup and bake for another 10 minutes.
Baklava is served chilled.
Have a nice tea!
