Cooking method
1. Peel the onion, garlic and carrots.
2. Cut onion, carrot and celery into small pieces.
3. Fry the prepared vegetables in preheated vegetable oil until the onion is golden.
4. Add finely chopped garlic and spices, cook for a couple more minutes.
5. Put the well-washed lentils to the fried vegetables, pour water. The heat should be reduced to medium, cover the pan with a lid. Cook everything together for 15 minutes.
6. Pour in the tomato juice, add salt, stir and cook the lentils for the same amount.
