Pickle with unpolished rice

A hearty and fragrant pickle is what you need to recuperate! Pickle is considered a dish of Russian cuisine. Grandma used to cook it for us as a child. The delicious soup had a soft and pleasant taste. Be sure to add sour cream to the soup before use. The recipe was forgotten, and so I wanted to feed my loved ones with delicious and satisfying food. I found this pickle recipe online. It turned out to be a thick and rich soup with pieces of meat. As in childhood! And relatives even asked for supplements)))

Cooking method

Cooking time: 3H

First prepare the broth:

1. Fill the meat with cold water and put it to cook. When the water boils, you need to descale.
2. Add bay leaf, allspice, salt to the broth and cook for 1.5 hours on low heat under the lid.
3. Remove the meat from the broth, finely chop.

We prepare the pickle itself:

4. While the meat is cooking, boil the rice separately in salted water in a ratio of 1:2 over low heat.
5. Vegetables are cleaned, washed. Cut potatoes into cubes, carrots into strips, onions into small cubes.
6. Bring the previously prepared meat broth to a boil and add potatoes to it.
7. Fry the prepared onions and carrots in half of vegetable oil for 5 minutes, add tomato paste. Fry a little more.
8. Add boiled rice, fried vegetables, pickles and brine to the finished potatoes.
9. Fry beef pieces in a frying pan in the remaining oil until golden, add to the soup.
10. Put the greens, parsley root, season with ground black pepper, cook over low heat for another 10-15 minutes. Then let it brew under the lid.
11. Add sour cream to each serving.

Have a nice lunch!
