Winter mulled wine

Spicy and fragrant winter drink is the perfect companion for a cold evening! A wonderful culinary recipe of English cuisine is winter mulled wine, which I found quite by accident by visiting one forum. I really liked it first of all because it requires a minimum of ingredients. In addition, the combination of products is so interesting that you just want to try to make this drink. As a rule, food is not served with mulled wine – it is a completely separate drink, which is good to drink in winter, sitting by a warm radiator or fireplace (who has it).

To prepare this fragrant drink, we will need an enameled saucepan. First we need to brew strong tea. Personally, for example, I love Ahmad tea, so I used it. I say right away that tea bags are categorically rejected. No tea bags – we brew tea from tea leaves without any flavorings and additives (classic tea, let's say). After filtering the tea infusion, so that the tea leaves do not float in the final product. Pour the tea into a saucepan, add dry red wine. Put on fire and bring to a boil. Now pour in the cinnamon and put the cloves. If it seems that it is not enough, you can add, it's not scary. Let our drink brew for about half an hour under the lid and in a warm place. If the mulled wine has cooled down during this time, we warm it up, and then pour it into cups and drink with pleasure.
