    1. To make this rib marinade, you'll first need honey. It's good if it's liquid — that makes it easier to mix with the other ingredients. If the honey is solid, you can soften it over a water bath or in the microwave. Transfer the soft honey to a bowl or other container. Pour in a little soy sauce and whisk thoroughly. 2. Add the mustard to the bowl — any kind will do. Depending on the mustard you use, the marinade will turn out spicier or milder. Mix everything again until smooth. 3. Rinse the citrus thoroughly in warm water and pat it dry with paper towels. You'll only need the juice for the marinade. To make it easier to squeeze out, first pour boiling water over the lemon, soften the fruit with your hands, and roll it on a hard surface (a cutting board or countertop). Then cut the lemon in half and take one half in your hand. Make a few punctures in the flesh of the citrus half with a sharp knife and, squeezing from both sides with your hands, press out the fresh lemon juice. Then do exactly the same with the other half of the lemon. Squeeze the juice from the orange the same way. Pour the fresh citrus juice into the bowl with the marinade and whisk until smooth. 4. Next, add spices to taste to the marinade, along with herbs that you've washed, dried, and chopped beforehand. You can use a ready-made pork blend or rib seasoning sold in stores, or add whichever spices you prefer. Then taste the marinade and add salt and ground black pepper if needed. After that, mix everything together again. And that's it! The honey marinade for ribs is ready! All that's left is to pour it over the ribs and leave them to marinate for a couple of hours. Ribs marinated in this sauce come out very tender, juicy, and slightly sweet. Enjoy!
