I found the recipe for this soup in one of the magazines, food supplies. Cuban cuisine once again pleases with the simplicity of cooking and the opportunity to eat. Below are described all the steps in order to cook canya soup in Cuban.
Rinse the rice well, then lower it into boiling salted (1 cup) water and cook until ready so that the rice becomes crumbly. Cut the pre-prepared chicken carcass into portions, pour cold water and bring them to a boil on fire, remove the foam, add salt and boil for 20 minutes. During the cooking, the peeled onion and carrot should be crushed and fried in vegetable oil until they acquire a golden hue. Tomatoes should be washed, scalded with boiling water, peel, cut the pulp into small slices. Peel the sweet pepper from the seeds, rinse well and cut into large pieces. Rinse the green onion and chop it coarsely. After the actions done, drain part of the broth so that the remaining liquid can cover the chicken, then add tomatoes, green and onion, sweet pepper and simmer everything on low heat until the meat is ready, adding chicken broth periodically.
The food is ready for general tasting! Canya soup in Cuban style is served hot. We wish you a pleasant appetite!
