Cooking method
In the pre-holiday turmoil, the question always arises: what to cook for the table? Traditionally, the New Year's table is rich in various salads, meat and fish dishes, sweets. This recipe presents one of the salads that everyone can afford. The ingredients in it are accessible and simple, and their combination is quite successful. It won't take long to cook. However, the salad needs extra time for impregnation. After the dish is in the refrigerator, it becomes much juicier and, accordingly, tastier.
1. Potatoes are boiled in a uniform. Carrots are also boiled. You can boil vegetables at a time in one saucepan.
2. Peel the carrots and potatoes. Cut the vegetables into cubes.
3. Cut the pickles into cubes.
4. Cut the ham into cubes in proportion to the rest of the ingredients.
5. Put the potatoes, carrots, cucumbers and ham in a deep bowl.
6. Drain the liquid from the canned corn. We put the corn in a bowl.
7. Pour the ingredients with mayonnaise. Salt. Mix it up.
8. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. We send the salad to the refrigerator. The salad should be well soaked. We leave it for 2 hours.
9. After the specified time, we take the salad out of the refrigerator, transfer it to a flat dish. We give it the desired shape.
10. Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater. Cover the salad with cheese. From the boiled sausage, we cut out the ears of the pig, the stigma and the tail. From olives we fasten the eyes, from carrots - the tongue. Although here you can show imagination and decorate to your liking, adding fresh greenery to the image.
We serve a festive dish on the table. Eat with pleasure!
Happy New Year!
