  • Put the mustard powder in a small bowl, add the boiling water in batches, and stir — it's important to work out any lumps. Pour the vinegar and vegetable oil into the mustard, add the salt and sugar, and mix. Set the finished mustard in the warmest spot you have (on the radiator during heating season, for example) and leave it to mature for 2-3 hours. In that time it will thicken. Use the mustard as you like. Enjoy!
