Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make chocolate chips from cookies? Prepare the products. Take the most ordinary cookies, of any shape, such as an Anniversary one. Instead of peanuts, you can put any other nuts that you like or that are available. Choose high-quality, natural butter, without vegetable fats. The taste of the finished dish will depend on its taste. Cocoa should also be without additives. A drink like Nesquik won't do.
Step 2:
Lightly dry the nuts in a dry frying pan. Just don't burn them, make the fire small and constantly interfere. If you, like me, have peanuts, then after roasting, peel it from the husk. Then chop the cookies and peanuts in a blender or in any other way available (through a meat grinder or, for example, with a rolling pin).
Step 3:
Chop them not too finely — the cake will taste better if it contains pieces of cookies and nuts.
Step 4:
Melt the butter in any convenient way, cool it a little and add cocoa.
Step 5:
Mix well, you will get a fragrant mass similar to chocolate.
Step 6:
Add cocoa butter and a jar of condensed milk to the cookie crumbs and nuts.
Step 7:
Mix everything well.
Step 8:
With your hands, form oblong cakes similar to small potatoes (hence the name).
Step 9:
If desired, roll the cakes in coconut chips, cookie crumbs, nuts, cocoa.
Step 10:
I also had colored coconut shavings - they turned out to be such cheerful cakes.
Step 11:
Put the cakes in the refrigerator for about 1 hour so that the butter freezes and the cookies absorb all the moisture.
Step 12:
In an hour we invite family and friends to a pleasant tea party!
Step 13:
Bon appetit!
Choose high-quality, proven condensed milk. Without vegetable fats and food additives. The composition should contain only two ingredients: milk and sugar. As a result, the taste and quality of the finished dish will depend on the quality of condensed milk.
Butter can be melted in the microwave or in a water bath.
How to melt butter in the microwave?
Cut the butter into small pieces and place it in a special container. To prevent the oil from splashing when heated, cover the oil vessel with a paper towel. The oil should be melted either at the lowest power or in defrosting mode. At first, five seconds will be enough. Next, if the butter has not melted yet, set it again for 5 seconds and start the microwave. Repeat the process several times until the desired result.
How to melt butter in a water bath?
You will need two containers of different diameters. Pour water into a large one and put it on the stove. Place the smaller container on top so that it is submerged in water by about half. Put the sliced butter into it. Under the influence of boiling water, the oil will begin to melt. Stir the oil slightly to speed up the process. As soon as the pieces of oil are completely dissolved, remove the container from the stove.
