Red Currant and Banana Milkshake

A healthy summer shake with currants and banana. I really love all kinds of milkshakes — I make them from a wide variety of fruits and berries. Now I've gotten around to currants too. It came out very tasty, with a pleasant tartness.

    1. Sort the red currants, rinse, and dry them. 2. Put the berries in a blender and cover with the sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes. 3. Blend the currants until smooth. 4. Add the banana and blend again. 5. Add the ice cream and milk to the blender and blend until smooth.
