Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

To start, let's prepare the filling for our pies:

1. Wash the potatoes, peel and boil in salted water. Then drain the water, and mash the potatoes into mashed potatoes.
2. While the potatoes are cooking, peel the onion, chop it finely.
3. Heat a frying pan, melt the butter on it, put the onion in it and fry until golden.
4. Add the onion and the remaining oil to the mashed potatoes, mix everything well.

The filling is ready. Now you can do the pies directly:

1. Pour the yogurt into a fairly large bowl.
2. Break an egg into yogurt, add vegetable oil, salt.
3. Extinguish the soda with vinegar, pour it into a bowl. Mix everything well with a whisk.
4. Sift the flour, add it to the rest of the ingredients in small portions, kneading the dough.
5. Add vodka to the dough, mix everything again.
6. Sprinkle the table with flour, lay out the dough and knead it well.
7. Divide the dough into parts - a total of 12-14 medium-sized pies are obtained from this amount of dough. Roll each part into a bun.
8. Now you need to roll out the buns into thin cakes, put the filling in the center of each of them (distribute it evenly over the entire number of pies).
9. Heat a frying pan well with vegetable oil, put some pies on it, cover with a lid (this is necessary so that they rise better).
10. Fry the pies until crisp on both sides. Repeat the same with the rest of the pies.

Pies are especially good hot, so it's better to serve them with fervor from the heat.

Bon appetit!
