Fried Breaded Cod Roe

    1. Rinse the cod roe first: place it in a sieve and rinse under running water. 2. Transfer to a saucepan, salt to taste, and simmer briefly until it turns white. 3. Lift the roe out and set it on a paper towel to draw off excess moisture. 4. Crack the egg into a shallow dish, season lightly with salt and pepper, and beat with a whisk. 5. Set a skillet over the heat and add the vegetable oil. Once it's good and hot, dip each piece of roe first in the beaten egg, then coat in breadcrumbs. Lay it in the pan and fry until golden brown on both sides. 6. Transfer to a plate and drizzle with lemon juice.
