Fried Vanilla Farmer's Cheese Sticks
Tired of the usual syrniki? Make these irresistible farmer's cheese sticks! They're basically syrniki (or you could call them cheese doughnuts), just in a different shape and deep-fried in plenty of oil. A great way to shake up breakfast! I sometimes like to add cinnamon to the dough, too — it comes out nicely.

- Put the farmer's cheese in a bowl. 2. Mash the cheese together with the egg, then add the sour cream, sifted flour (2 tbsp), sugar, salt, baking soda, and vanillin. 3. Knead the dough — it should come out fairly soft and sticky. 4. You can divide the dough into a few portions to make it easier to work with. Dust a board with flour and roll the dough into ropes. Cut them into pieces — those are your sticks. Make them as long or as short as you like; it's up to you. 5. Lay the shaped sticks on parchment and chill them in the fridge for half an hour. 6. After half an hour, heat a skillet with oil; once it's hot, add the sticks. Fry them until golden. 7. Transfer the finished sticks to paper towels to drain off the excess oil. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Your cheese sticks are ready!
