"Maya the Bee" Fondant Cake
A cake inspired by the popular cartoon Maya the Bee. Don't miss it! Fondant decoration.
Cooking method

Step 1:
Make the Maya and Flip figures, as well as the flowers and other decorative elements, a day before decorating the cake.

Sculpt Maya's body from fondant, and cut out two circles and a strip from black fondant.

Place the circles at the top and bottom of the body, and the strip across the middle.

Step 4:
Sculpt the head and attach it to the body with a toothpick. Mark the mouth.

Step 5:
Make antennae from wire and attach them. Put yellow balls on the antennae. Glue on the nose and eyes.

Step 6:
Sculpt and attach Maya's legs and arms.

Step 7:
Cut out and glue on the blue wings. Make the Flip figure the same way. Make the flowers and other decorative elements. Leave everything to dry for a day.

Step 8:
Assemble the cake from the layers and whipped cream filling. Coat the cake with buttercream as a base for the fondant and smooth it well. Refrigerate until the buttercream sets.

Step 9:
Roll out a sheet of green fondant.

Step 10:
Drape the fondant over the cake.

Step 11:
Smooth out all the folds well.

Step 12:
Neatly trim away the excess fondant around the edge.

Step 13:
Place the Maya and Flip figures. Add a number and name if you like.

Step 14:
Decorate the cake with flowers, butterflies, and leaves. Use food coloring to paint grass along the side of the cake.

Let the decorations dry a little. The cake is done and decorated — you can serve it to your loved ones! Have a wonderful celebration!
