Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Put the prepared cottage cheese in a spacious bowl.
Step 2:
Add a pinch of salt, vanilla and sugar to it. Rub it all together.
Step 3:
Then add sour cream, flour and semolina.
Step 4:
Mix the whole mass well and leave to stand for 30 minutes. During this time, the semolina will swell and the dough will become thicker. If your cottage cheese is initially moist, then you can do without sour cream. My cottage cheese was very dry and it just needed to be moistened a little.
Step 5:
Pour a little flour into a separate plate. Dip a spoon into cold water and use it to take a little cottage cheese dough. Roll the dough in flour and form small tortillas with your hands. If desired, you can add a little more flour to the dough and bring it to a state so that it does not stick to your hands. In this case, you can simply roll the sausage out of the dough and cut it into mugs with a sharp knife. It's as convenient for anyone.
Step 6:
Heat the frying pan to a hot state and pour a little vegetable oil. Lay out the curds and fry over low heat for a minute.
Step 7:
Then turn the curds over with a spatula and fry them on the other side until golden brown.
Step 8:
Put the finished curds on napkins or paper towels to remove excess fat from them. Serve them with sour cream, jam or condensed milk. Bon appetit!
As you can see, it is quite possible to do without adding eggs in the preparation of cheesecakes. The set of products is minimal, but a tasty and healthy delicacy is at stake.
I have always loved cottage cheese for their simplicity and functionality. Another confirmation that useful things can be very tasty.
A great option for a delicious and hearty breakfast for the whole family or a great snack during the day. By the way, such cheesecakes can be quite prepared for a student to take to school or for a walk. It is not often possible to feed a child with simple cottage cheese, but as cheesecakes, cottage cheese is perfectly used.
Cook for health!
Be prepared for the fact that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
