  • A perfect recipe for outdoor picnics — Salad in Lavash — belongs to Greek cuisine. The beauty of this food is that you can take it along, as I said, out of town or to work and eat it like a regular sandwich. In other words, it's an excellent "portable meal," a very wholesome "snack" for a busy workday. Make it ahead of time and a pleasant lunch at work is guaranteed. Peel the cucumbers, then dice them along with the tomatoes. Do the same with the feta — cut it into cubes. Pour olive oil into a deep bowl, add pepper and salt, press in the garlic, and mix. Now add the tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, the olives cut into quarters, and the lettuce leaves torn into small pieces by hand. Mix again. Cut two sheets of lavash in half — you get 4 portions. Fill each piece with salad and roll it up. The key thing is to do this just before serving so the lavash doesn't go soggy.
