- Set a tortilla on a flat plate or cutting board so you can slide it easily into the skillet later. Spread the tortilla with crushed cranberries, then arrange slices of sausage and thinly sliced onion evenly over the whole surface. 2. Lay the cheese slices on top and cover with the second tortilla. 3. Heat a dry skillet and carefully transfer the quesadilla into it. Cook for 7–8 minutes per side. The times are approximate—go by the tortilla and cook until golden. 4. Let the finished quesadilla cool slightly, then cut it into wedges and serve. Enjoy!
