- Here's how to make this colorful dish: 1. Rinse the marinade off the canned beans and pat them dry. 2. Dice half a tomato and add it to the beans. 3. Cut the bell pepper into strips. 4. Finely chop the parsley leaves and add them, along with the bell pepper, to the vegetables. 5. Cut the onion into quarter-rings and lightly fry it in a skillet with the oil. 6. Add the vegetables and parsley to the skillet and cook until the tomato softens. Season with salt and pepper. 7. Grate the cheese fine. 8. Lay a tortilla in a heating dry skillet and sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the whole surface. 9. Once the cheese melts, spoon the filling onto one half of the tortilla, season with hot sauce, fold the other half over the filling, and press the quesadilla flat with a spatula. 10. Cook over medium-high heat on one side, then flip and cook the other until the tortilla is golden. The quesadilla is ready—enjoy!
