Capelin Roe Patties

A quick, out-of-the-ordinary dinner—fish-roe patties! They're really tasty, wholesome, and filling. My family loved them, so now I make them now and then—the nice part is that capelin roe is easy to find and quite cheap. Quick and simple to make!

    1. Put the capelin roe in a bowl. 2. Crack the egg into the roe. 3. Add salt and pepper. 4. Add the flour and mix everything thoroughly. 5. Heat a skillet with the vegetable oil. 6. Wet your hands with water and shape the mixture into small patties, then set them in the hot oil. 7. Fry the patties for 2 minutes per side (until nicely crusted). Serve them with heavy cream or sour cream—or with your favorite side, like mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
