Step-by-step cooking
Recently, imitation crab meat has been increasingly used in food. Probably because the crabs have grown. Of course, it would be better to make this salad with a natural crab, but the recipe also provides for a replacement. In any super-market we can buy crab sticks or such flat cakes imitating crab meat.
We put the alleged crab in a bowl and rub it into the smallest particles we can make. Remember, the longer you mix the salad afterwards, the smaller the pieces of crab meat will be. Melted or sausage cheese is grated on a coarse grater. and mix with crab meat until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. You can not rub the cheese, but melt it a little in the microwave.
Finely chop celery greens, green onions and pitted green olives. Mix everything with cheese and crab, cover with mayonnaise on top and send it to the refrigerator for two hours.
The chilled salad is thoroughly mixed with mayonnaise. and we serve the table cold. We put croissants, crackers, toast or plain bread on the table separately.
