Oven-Grilled Pork Kebabs in Tomato Juice
Treat your family and friends to mouthwatering kebabs. The weather doesn't always give us sunny days, so for times like that I always have a great recipe for juicy, golden kebabs grilled right at home.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
For the kebabs, gather these ingredients: pork, onion, tomato juice, salt, ground black pepper and allspice, coriander, paprika, and sumac.
-
Step 2:
You'll want small onions for the kebabs. Peel them and cut into rings — not too thin. Rinse the pork and pat it dry with a paper towel, then cut it into small serving-size pieces.
-
Step 3:
Season the pieces of meat with salt and spices.
-
Step 4:
Layer the pork in a deep bowl, alternating with the onion.
-
Step 5:
Pour in the tomato juice to cover the meat. Let it marinate for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
-
Step 6:
Turn on your oven's broiler. Thread the meat onto skewers, alternating with the onion. Cook for about an hour over moderate heat, taking the skewers out from time to time to baste them with the tomato juice the meat marinated in.
-
Step 7:
The oven-grilled pork kebabs in tomato juice are ready. Enjoy!
