Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 35 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Apples are better to use sweet varieties, soft pulp, so that they bake faster and become tender after baking. As a filling, cottage cheese with various sweet additives is usually used: berries, dried fruits, nuts. These are perfectly combined and healthy products. Cottage cheese can be used with any percentage of fat content, depending on the desired caloric content of the dish.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

For children, it is better to use natural cottage cheese, for ladies who are on a diet and watching their figure, a low-fat product is suitable. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl, add sugar or honey, if there is no allergy to this product. If the cottage cheese is granular, it should be rubbed through a sieve or punched with a blender, if the product is dry, you can add a spoonful of cream or sour cream.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Drive in the chicken egg, mix the mass again so that it becomes homogeneous in consistency. Add sweet additives to the curd mass. I used frozen berries of white, red and black currants. If desired, you can use raisins, dried apricots and prunes or other dried fruits or fruits.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Add a pinch of vanilla or cinnamon to taste. Mix the ingredients.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

I wash the apples, cut off a small cap from above, with a sharp knife or spoon we take out the core of the apple with a small amount of pulp from the walls, but we do not reach the bottom to make a pot for baking. To prevent apples from darkening, they should be prepared for cooking last, or placed in a container with a solution of lemon juice or citric acid.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

We stuff the apples with the prepared filling, cover the top with a lid made of an apple cap.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put them in a baking dish, at the bottom of which you need to pour a little water, and send them to a preheated 180 degree oven for 20 minutes. The baking time depends on the operating mode of the oven, the degree of hardness of the apple and the desired softness of the finished dish. But in any case, you should not keep apples with stuffing in the oven for a long time, so that the useful substances contained in the components of the dish do not collapse.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

We take the apples out of the oven and serve them to the table, with sour cream, caramel or chocolate sauce, garnished with honey or powdered sugar. Enjoy your meal!
