Step 1:
Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making a salad with bell pepper, crab sticks and tomatoes. Crab sticks need to be pre-thawed if necessary. We do it in the refrigerator, not in the room. And make sure that the packaging is not broken, this will save you from unpleasant consequences.
Step 2:
Cut the crab sticks into thin strips and put them in a bowl.
Step 3:
Bulgarian pepper is washed and wiped, as excess water accelerates the process of spoiling products. We remove the peduncle and seeds. Cut into four pieces and cut diagonally with a thin straw. Add it to a bowl with crab sticks.
Step 4:
Peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater. But it is best to chop the garlic very finely. With this grinding, garlic does not secrete oil, and remains sharp and fragrant, not bitter. And of course we adjust the amount of sharpness to your liking.
Step 5:
We will wash the tomato, wipe it and cut it into strips. Therefore, we choose dense, fleshy fruits with a minimum number of seeds. Add the chopped tomato to a bowl with vegetables and crab sticks.
Step 6:
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and add it to a bowl with salad. In general, cheese can be taken to your taste and the sharper the cheese, the brighter the taste of the salad will be.
Step 7:
Add mayonnaise, salt and mix. If you don't like mayonnaise or just can't, add sour cream or thick natural yogurt. Or you can fill it with a mixture of vegetable oil, soy sauce and lemon juice.
Step 8:
Our salad with bell pepper, crab sticks and tomatoes is ready. We lay out on salad bowls, or serve in general. Enjoy your meal.
Although this salad is light at first glance, there are several points to consider. It is necessary to salt such a salad immediately before serving. Since vegetables after adding salt will quickly secrete juice and the salad will lose its presentability. It is better to remove the seeds after slicing the tomato, without them the salad looks more neat. If you cannot purchase crab sticks, they can be replaced with crab meat. And if you don't like salads that are cut into strips, feel free to cut everything into medium cubes.
