Tiramisu without eggs with mascarpone in a hurry

Incredibly delicate and airy delicacy from Italy! You can talk (or rather write) about tiramisu for a very long time. As for me, this is an amazing dessert. It turns out to be incredibly tender, light, airy, creamy and just very, very tasty. I'm not offering you a classic option today, because according to the classics, tiramisu with raw eggs is prepared, but since not everyone eats raw eggs, tiramisu without eggs is perfect. Preparing tiramisu is incredibly simple and quite fast. By the way, if you can't find savoyardi or mascarpone in stores, don't worry, because both are very easy to cook at home!

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

So, first prepare the ingredients we need. To prepare tiramisu (without eggs), we will take savoyardi cookies (ladies' fingers), mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, freshly brewed aromatic coffee, cognac (or rum, if desired), as well as a little cocoa powder, although you can take grated chocolate instead.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Prepare the cream. In a bowl, combine mascarpone and powdered sugar (we take the amount to taste).

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

With a whisk or a spatula, mix the cheese with the powder until smooth. If desired, you can use a mixer, only you need to beat at a minimum speed and for a very short time.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour the heavy cream into a large container and whisk until soft peaks. By the way, do not forget that the cream is well whipped, they should be cold, and you can also additionally cool the container and the beaters of the mixer.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Add whipped cream to the cheese mass in small portions.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Mix the cream gently with a whisk or a spatula. Our tiramisu cream is ready.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Next, pour the freshly brewed coffee into a deep dish and add cognac or rum to it. If desired, if you do not like strong drinks, then you can not use alcohol at all.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Dip savoyardi cookies in coffee one at a time. You need to dip it literally for 2-3 seconds, since the cookies get wet pretty quickly.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Spread the cookies soaked in coffee in a thick layer on the bottom of the mold. As for the shape, I used a regular bread mold with a size of 13x24 cm, and I also cooked tiramisu in a portion serving (in glasses and immediately on a plate).

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

The layer of cookies is covered with the prepared cream and leveled.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Next, we spread the layer of cookies soaked in coffee again and cover it with cream again.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Top tiramisu with a layer of cocoa powder or grated chocolate. We send our dessert to the refrigerator for 2-3 hours or more, only after that the cream will harden a little and the tiramisu will be easy to cut into portions. If you cut it right away, then the pieces will not turn out neat.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

By the way, optionally, if you don't have a suitable shape or you just don't want to play with slicing, or wait for the dessert to stand, then you can collect tiramisu immediately on a plate, this is especially convenient if you need to make a small number of servings. In this case, the cream is most convenient to apply using a pastry bag with a conventional round nozzle.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

But if you need to make a lot of portions, then I advise you to collect tiramisu in glasses.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

That's it. Our tiramisu (without eggs) is ready.

  16. Step 16:

    Step 16.

    Bon appetit!
