Far Eastern Salad

Great holiday salad. A worthy replacement for Olivier and mimosa! . In addition to the original taste and appearance, this salad is also very useful. Cod liver contains 60% fish oil, which makes this product very valuable for our health. The salad is hearty, has a rich taste, a little island. Don't forget that cooking is an art! So you can safely experiment with both the composition and quantity of ingredients, and with the method of serving. This recipe is basic, but do not limit yourself. If you like to be more chic, feel free to add spicy pickled onions, pickled cucumbers. If you want to be more gentle, add green canned peas, reduce the amount of pickled cucumber, and increase the number of eggs. The salad can be served on a platter, or served in portions. You can mix all the ingredients and arrange the salad with a serving ring. Create, and enjoy the result!

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Pre-boil potatoes, carrots and eggs. Carrots, so that they are delicious, and do not interrupt the taste of the salad, do not cook for a long time. The best option is to peel fresh carrots, cut into cubes, throw them into boiling water and cook for 10 minutes. Then drain and cool.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

In my family, boiled carrots are not very favored, therefore, in most salads, they are successfully replaced with pickled.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

When the preparation is completed, we start cooking. Everything is simple here. Peel potatoes, carrots and eggs. Separate the yolks from the whites.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

    All ingredients

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

    Cut into cubes.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Knead the liver with a fork. When buying a liver, pay attention to it being whole pieces. For example, the liver of cod in Murmansk, is a minced liver in oil. I prefer to take natural liver, because it is quite fatty in itself, and there is no need for oil here.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Well, now it remains only to collect our salad. In the middle of the plate or dish we spread the liver, carefully place all the other ingredients around the liver. Our salad is ready, you can serve.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

There is no need to add salt to the salad and season with butter or sauces. Cook with pleasure! Bon appetit!
