Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the yeast dough. Pour kefir and vegetable oil into a deep bowl. We heat them up in a microwave oven or in a water bath to a warm state (about 36 degrees), the main thing is not to overheat the mixture so that the kefir does not get cold. Add sugar and salt to the kefir-oil mixture, mix so that the dry ingredients completely dissolve.
Step 2:
Pour sifted wheat flour combined with dry yeast into a bowl with liquid. Mix, it is better to sift the flour repeatedly to saturate it well with oxygen, then the dough will turn out to be more airy. It is better to pour the flour into a bowl with a mixture in parts so that there is no excess of flour, and the dough does not turn out tight and knocked down.
Step 3:
Flour may need a little more or less than the quantity specified in the ingredients, since the quality and density of this product is different for each manufacturer. First, knead the dough with a spoon in a bowl, when it becomes difficult to stir it, spread it on the work surface sprinkled with flour and continue kneading the dough with your hands.
Step 4:
Knead the dough well with your hands. Yeast dough loves hands, so you need to pay as much attention to this process as possible.
Step 5:
Put the dough back in the bowl, tighten it with cling film on top and leave for half an hour in a warm place. While the dough is standing, you can prepare the filling for products made from it. But you need to think about what kind of filling to make in advance, so that based on whether it will be sweet or not, add the appropriate amount of sugar to the dough.
Step 6:
Yeast dough as fluff is ready. We mince it and you can proceed to baking pies, pies, buns or other products from yeast dough. Bon appetit!
