Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2:
Soak the pearl barley in water for a couple of hours.
Step 3:
Cut the sausage into small strips.
Step 4:
Peel the potatoes, cut into strips, more than the rest of the ingredients.
Step 5:
Finely chop sorrel.
Step 6:
Cut cucumbers into strips like sausage, cut out the seeds (ideally)
Step 7:
Finely chop the onion, fry. Grate carrots, fry with onions.
Step 8:
Cook the pearl barley for 40 minutes, add potatoes and sausage, add tomato paste or ketchup, cook for another 20 minutes, add everything else 10 minutes before cooking.
