Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a salad of pears and cheese? Prepare all the necessary products according to the list. Visually divide all the ingredients into two parts, since we will repeat the layers in the salad twice.
Step 2:
Rinse arugula in cold water and dry with paper towels to get rid of excess water. Spread the leaves in a thin layer on a flat dish.
Step 3:
Peel the onion, rinse and cut into thin feathers or half rings. Which bow is better to use? For this salad, softer varieties of onions such as: red, shallot or white are well suited. Send it to arugula.
Step 4:
Wash the pear, cut it in half. Remove the core and bones. Cut the fruit into thin plates and send the next layer to the salad. Sprinkle the pears with the juice of freshly squeezed lemon, this will not allow the pieces to darken and keep an appetizing appearance.
Step 5:
Put the next layer of cheese with mold on the pear, sliced or chopped by hand into small pieces.
Step 6:
Heat a dry frying pan and send the pine nuts to fry. Do not forget to stir, otherwise the nuts will burn. Usually a few seconds on high heat is enough to bring the kernels to the desired readiness.
Step 7:
Sprinkle half a portion of nuts on the salad.
Step 8:
Then repeat all the layers again. Put the arugula, then onion, pear (sprinkle with lemon juice), cheese and nuts.
Step 9:
Salt the salad as needed. I usually don't do this, I have enough cheese and lemon in the salad. Pour a little olive oil over the salad.
Step 10:
Pepper to taste. I used sweet and red ground peppers.
Step 11:
Mix the salad in your plate and enjoy the unusual taste!
Arugula has a peculiar taste, these leaves are a little bitter. If you don't really like arugula, then replace it with softer-tasting lettuce leaves. Suitable such as iceberg, lettuce or frieze.
This salad can be prepared if you are planning a bachelorette party or get-togethers with friends. It is unusual, light and very tasty, it will perfectly complement a glass of champagne or a glass of white wine.
Bon appetit!
Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
