Classic layered salad with cod liver

Delicious layered salad with cod liver. I really love cod liver for its extraordinary, unparalleled taste. However, due to the high fat content, I can not often afford such joy. This is one of my favorite salads, to which I add liver not from one, but from two cans at once - this makes it tastier. The main secret of the salad is that you need to rub the ingredients on a fine grater. So the salad will turn out tender and airy.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 40 min

1. Boil and peel the carrots. Grate on a fine grater.

2. Boil the eggs, peel. Separate the whites from the yolks and grate separately on a fine grater.

3. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

4. Mash the cod liver with a fork.

5. Put layers on the bottom of the salad bowl: cod liver – carrots – mayonnaise – proteins – cheese – mayonnaise – yolks.

6. Put in the refrigerator for 1 hour for impregnation.

7. Decoration. Cut a few olives in half lengthwise, the rest in circles. Wash and dry the parsley.

8. Garnish the salad with olives and parsley and serve.
