  • Purée the bananas in a blender. Using a fine grater, zest the orange, then squeeze the juice from half of it. Stir the juice and zest into the banana purée. Add the cocoa, water, and sugar, mix, and set over low heat. Stirring, bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes. Break the chocolate into pieces, add it in, and let it melt completely into the cream. Pour the spread into a jar and refrigerate until fully chilled.
