  • Here's a recipe that brings together salmon, herbs, and vegetables. If this combination of ingredients intrigues you, let's make a salmon salad. Wash the potatoes and put them in a pot of water to boil in their skins. When they're done, drain the water, peel them, and cut them into thin rounds. Peel and finely chop the onion. In a separate pot, bring the vegetable broth to a boil, add the onion, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Pour the broth over the potato slices and season with salt and pepper. Wash the lettuce leaves, chop them, and add them to the potatoes, along with the dried herb blend and the capers. Now make the dressing: whisk together the vegetable oil, vinegar, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Add the dressing to the salad and toss everything together. Cut the smoked salmon into small strips and add it in as well. Finish by garnishing with a few fresh herbs.
