  • Salads with imitation crab sticks have long had a firm place among popular recipes. But honestly, I've grown a little tired of the sameness of dishes made with them. One day, while shopping, my eye landed on real crab meat, and I thought it might be just the thing to liven up that everyday salad. Crab sticks and crab meat are often treated as the same thing, but real crab meat can give a completely new flavor to familiar dishes. Drawing on my own experience, I want to share a wonderful recipe I call "Crab Meat Salad." It doesn't take much time and rewards you with a filling dish and an original taste. First I'll set the eggs to boil, and while they cook I'll chop all the other ingredients. Once the eggs are done, I'll dice them and add them to the mix. Season everything with salt, pepper, and basil. If you like, you can easily add a little celery for a fragrant note. And of course, the salad isn't complete without mayonnaise. Now it's ready to serve.
