- Not long ago, while looking for something new for my family, I came across a really interesting salad recipe. It comes together quickly and tastes wonderful, and you don't have to go far for the ingredients. You can serve it with confidence when guests come over. To make our tasty salad, we need to cook the chicken breast and the eggs. While they're cooking, grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Once the chicken and eggs are done, cut them up: slice the chicken into fairly thin strips and chop the eggs into neat cubes. There—all our ingredients are ready. Take a flat, smallish plate and line the bottom with the lettuce leaves. On top, arrange the layers attractively: first the chicken strips, then the egg cubes, then the grated cheese. Now lightly salt the dish—just enough not to overwhelm the flavor of each ingredient—and top it with mayonnaise. It's best to use seedless grapes to garnish the salad, since you won't get to enjoy it much if you keep hitting seeds. That's it—the salad is ready. Enjoy.
