  • Here's a really good recipe for a festive table. First, we need to cook the vegetables. You'll need two pots—one for the potatoes, one for the beet. I don't think it's worth explaining how to do that, since any cook knows. Cut the vegetables into thin slices. Peel and chop the celery. Put everything in a bowl. Add the sliced mushrooms, parsley, and endive. Cut the apple into cubes, coring it and discarding the center. Add it to the rest. Now that everything's combined, add the oil, season with mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper, and toss the salad well. Cut the turkey into thin slices.
