"Turtle" Fruit Cake with Kiwi

Make a fun, delicious no-bake cake! It's easy! When the kids ask for a treat and time is tight, I make this cake. A foolproof option, trust me! The "Turtle" cake is made of yogurt and fruit — maximum goodness, minimum calories. Even a mom watching her figure will enjoy this dessert.

  • So let's begin: - prepare the gelatin according to the package instructions, but I'd advise using less water than called for; - slowly stir the yogurt into the dissolved gelatin, mixing continuously. Once the mixture has cooled, pour in the powdered sugar and mix thoroughly; - finely chop the pre-washed apricots and strawberries; - choose a deep bowl, lay the strawberries on the bottom, pour half the yogurt mixture on top, and put it in the cold to set (about 50-60 minutes); - next, form a layer of apricots and again pour the remaining yogurt mixture over the fruit; - refrigerate for an hour to an hour and a half; - turn the finished jelly cake out onto a flat dish of the right diameter and decorate the top with rounds of thinly sliced kiwi. Don't forget to cut out a head and legs so the "Turtle" cake lives up to its name. Treat the kids and have some yourself! Enjoy!
